In a statement issued on February 16, 2012, the Dutch Ministry of Finance outlined its agenda in terms of DTAs for this year. According to the government, negotiations will continue with Australia, China, Colombia, Germany, Ethiopia, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Norway and the Czech Republic; and the country intends to begin negotiations towards new DTAs, or Protocols to existing agreements, with Angola, Brazil, Chile, Cyprus, Poland, Spain and Turkey.

Vodafone Ordered To Pay Deposit By Indian Court 17/11/2010
After agreeing to hear an appeal in February 2011, the Indian Supreme Court has requested a deposit of INR25bn (USD552m) from the Vodafone Group Dutch holding company within three weeks and a bank guarantee of INR85bn within two months. In the meantime the tax authorities are restrained from enforcing their tax claim against Vodafone.
