The Government of Armenia on May 29, 2013, approved the signing of a TIEA with Argentina.

Armenia and Germany signed a DTA during four-day negotiations that concluded on March 1, 2013.

Armenia's parliament on February 26, 2013, approved a law to ratify the Protocol to the Armenia-Russia DTA signed on October 24, 2011. Russia has already completed its domestic ratification procedures in respect of the agreement.

Russia on February 1, 2013, completed its domestic ratification procedures in respect of the DTA Protocol Russia signed with Armenia on October 24, 2011. The DTA was approved by the State Duma on January 18, 2013, and the Federal Council on January 23, 2013, and the Law was then signed by President Putin.

Russia's lower house of parliament approved a law on January 18, 2013, ratifying the Protocol that amends the 1996 DTA between Russia and Armenia.

United Kingdom - Armenia


According to HM Revenue and Customs, the Armenia-UK DTA became effective on January 1, 2013, for UK tax deducted at source from property income, dividends, interest, royalties, annuities not subject to PAYE and other income. The treaty has been effective in the UK for pensions and annuities within PAYE since April 6, 2012.

Romania - Armenia


On December 12, 2012, the Romanian government approved a proposal for negotiations to start on a Protocol to the 1996 DTA with Armenia.

Russia and Armenia signed an amending protocol to the DTA the two countries share during meetings between Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev and his Armenian counterpart, Serzh Sargsyan between October 23-25, 2011.

According to preliminary media reports, the pending DTA between Armenia and Spain, signed in December 2010, was ratified by Armenia on October 3, 2011. This follows the completion of ratification procedures by Spain in May 2011.

Ireland and Armenia signed a DTA on July 14, 2011, the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs has announced.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has announced that a DTA was signed with the UK government in London on July 13.
