According to preliminary media reports, the Taiwanese President announced that negotiations were underway towards a DTA with Ireland on January 13, 2015.

The DTA between Austria and Taiwan came into force on January 1, 2015.

Luxembourg - Taiwan


According to preliminary media reports, the DTA between Luxembourg and Taiwan entered into force on July 25, 2014.

Luxembourg - Taiwan


On July 9, 2014, Luxembourg ratified the DTA signed with Taiwan, publishing a notice in the Official Gazette on July 15, 2014.

Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the DTA signed with Luxembourg will become effective from January 1, 2015, following the approval of a law ratifying the agreement by Luxembourg's parliament on July 9, 2014.

China - Taiwan


According to preliminary media reports, China and Taiwan have settled on the terms for the final draft of an agreement to avoid double taxation, which both expect to soon sign.

The Taiwanese Embassy confirmed on January 10, 2013, that the new DTA signed with Germany took effect on January 1, 2013.

Thailand and Taiwan signed a DTA on November 30, 2012.

India - Taiwan


The DTA between Taiwan and India, which entered into force on August 12, 2012, and is effective for Taiwanese income from January 1, 2012, became effective for taxes due in India from April 1, 2012.

Switzerland - Taiwan


According to a January 5 announcement by the Swiss Federal Department of Finance, the private double taxation agreement between Switzerland and Taiwan was published in the Federal Gazette on December 28, 2011, and entered into force on December 13, 2011.

Taiwan - Czech Republic


According to preliminary media reports, Taiwan and the Czech Republic will commmence negotiations towards a DTA in three days of meetings beginning on January 16, 2012.

Germany - Taiwan


Germany and Taiwan signed a DTA on December 28, 2011.

Taiwan - Switzerland


The Taiwanese government has noted the entry into force, on December 14, 2011, of the DTA signed between Taiwan and Switzerland.

Taiwan - India


The DTA between Taiwan and India entered into force on August 12, 2011. It will become effective in Taiwan from January 1, 2012 and in India from April 1, 2012.
